going to be featured here in my blog is Natalie Wood... Haven't heard of her? well... that's not surprising... because... She was at her peak of her acting life while we were still cells in our parents...

Why the sudden? you ask... Partly was because of the Hallmark Channel talking about her biography i was watching just now, had made an impression in me... I am going to introduce her a bit...

Natalie Wood, whose real name was Born Natalia Nikolaevna Zakharenko, was born on July 20, 1938 in San Francisco.(whew! that's long!) She would have probably be around 67 years old now! WAS? you say?

Her life was full of ups and downs... Most of her private rather than her hollywood life were downs... she was desperate for a true love and yet she also had to cope with her fears... She was struggling for the happiness of life... untill one day... that incident happened and from there... she wanted to took her own life away. The incident she was raped... summer 1966 was her most depressing days of her life...

But yet... she had life moving on... and had finally met her true love.. Robert Wagner... it was expected from a girl who is only just 18 years old and him older than her by a few years(not quite sure) they were married twice and had three kids...

untill one day.. Reunited in time for Thanksgiving 1981, Natalie and Robert threw their traditional holiday party, then invited Walken to join them for a weekend cruise around Catalina Island on their yacht, The Splendor. Late that Saturday night, after an evening of dinner and too much drinking, Wagner realized that his wife was missing from the yacht. Distraught, he alerted the Coast Guard and police, who began an all-night search. They found Natalie lifeless body early the next morning, floating less than two hundred yards from shore.

Natalie Wood, dead at only 43, was buried on December 2, 1981, at Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles. All of Hollywood mourned.

By 18 years old.. she already made 27 movies and many oscars awards... she had fame and wealth... the last movie she appeared on was Brainstorm (1983) shot two years before her death and her most famous movie she made was West Side Story (1961)...

Though Natalie’s life was blessed by fortune, it was cut short by fate, and despite her untimely death in a tragic accident, so much of her lives on in her work and family
