You didn't perform that well and in the end, you are being "shot" by the audience in every critisisim you can ever hear of...

Luckily for me, it made me experience my first defeat in presentation today.

So i won't be so over the top. The critics are there to keep me down. Put me back to my humble egg..

But even so, it greatly discouraged me and i wasn't feeling really great afterwards.

Haha.. I went to star gazing last night and it was damn amazing!!

There are some many things that we can learn fom the sky..

Let me cut the long story short and show you some things i learned from the constellations yesterday.

I am sure everyone heard the story of Cowherd and Weaver Girl..

Cowherd is a star in the sky called Altair, and this star is in the constellation Aquila and the weaver girl is Vegain the constellation Lyra. In the story, we know that they are seperated and can be only reunited during Chinese valentine's day. Which falls just recently last week. This is the day where the magpies took pity of them and create a magpie bridge across the Milky Way(which is the river between them).

Deneb star in the constellation Cygnus marks the magpie bridge across the Milky Way which allows the separated lovers Niu Lang (Altair) and Zhi Nü (Vega) to be reunited on one special night of the year in late summer.

During this day, the constellation looks like this:

The grey area is the milky way..

And it will only happen in a day in every year..

Fascinating?

After all the introductions, i guess i shld start off a new post... so here's one:

Have you ever wondered if you are old/terminally ill and you are currently only left with a few mins of your life? What would you do? What would you wished for?

I had this miniture thought just now.. and it reminded me of one incident. I think i did post before but nevertheless i will say it again...

I was at the Tan Tock Seng hospital visiting my grandaunt who was ill, and right infront of his bed was another very old indian woman. She was surrounded by her relatives and friends and family, i suppose. I noticed every single one of her visitors were crying hysterically. Out of curiosity, i went to peek.

To my horror,

The old indian lady,

Passed away right infront of me.

The image was very vivid to me, she was looking to another side of the bed, with her eyes closed. She seems so peaceful, even with all the tubes sticking out from her nostrils and her body. But this is the first time in my life, i actually see someone having their final breath and slept a sleep that will never ever wake up again.

Therefore, i was thinking,

What if, I am the one sleeping there one day, What will i think of? Or what will i want others to remember me? What would i do?

What will you do?

Second thought :

I think i found the right person, i think i found you through the mist of people. Thanks for loving me. I will do my best to let you feel loved! This will be the beginning of the beginning... This will be our story, our fairy tale with no endings. There may be storms out there. Big or small, we will walk through together.

I don't even have the time now to go blog.. excluding today

I haven't returned home while the sky is still bright for a very very very long time...

work work work... sometimes it can just drive someone to the edge..

Even today.. i am still busy with my poly stuffs.. I had to make a trip to CPF board for my singpass and the application form.. i have to make appointment with a x ray specialist clinic, i have to go Standard Chartered Bank to make payment, i still have to go down to Singapore Polytechnic to complete enrolment process..

In addition to that.. i still have my Navy stuffs to settle...
i need to rush around Changi and Tuas Naval Base to get my ORD clearance done.. i also need to ensure my crafts are of operating status by planning EVERYTHING in small little details... My guys in my unit are still very dependant of me.. which is a bad thing.. I had to rush to finish all the work before 28 march... I got quite a bad grp of supervisors.. i need to RUSH work to make full use of my leave entitlement which is only 5 days...

I AM NOT GOING TO CARE THINGS ANYMORE.. i will just let nature flow.. i only do my part as a NSF... This is reality.. WAKE UP

In the third century, the Roman Empire was ruled by Emperor Claudius II Gothicus. last fri i went to watch The Guardian with my fellow campmates.. it was a very nice show.. and i recommended it to most of my friends...

After the whole show, it tells me one thing.. Appreciate everything good now.. If you think that you doing shit jobs, or something that makes you not worth it a try, they really tells you that actually there soem more other people are doing it.. maybe even worst situations than you.. They risked their life everytime they went out for operations.. and it's really touching to see them to save everyone from the cold seas of death..

I met up with Annabelle yesterday for a chit chat in a Cafe.. At first I thought it was just a normal chit chat session, but it turned out to be that she actually wanted me to join her in a job that she is currently working in.. Something like selling Health Products and promoting wasn't really in my job prospects.. Whatsoever, I also have my NS constrains.. i also felt that maybe it could be also a better job for others who really need cash.. so in the end.. i rejected the offer..

But anyway, i did have a nice talk with her, and i found out tt she have really changed a lot since i knew her.. I really felt that she have grown up a lot.. and had already evolved into a even better person.. You go girl.. Carry on with it.. Inspire people! haha..

Soon after i met up with Annabelle, i rushed home to prepare my cycling overnight trip...

In the end.. On our way home.. when we were cycling along Geylang.. Rex's bicycle tire went flat.. we were stuck in Aljunied for like a few hours.. It was around 5.25am.. We waited till we finally flagged a taxi and let the Taxi finish our route way home.. hahaha.. Definetely an experience...

Just some updates:

Yea.. I just got a new bicycle today.. just in preparation for this week's cycling trip.. $120! full suspension.. although it's in average quality.. but.. it's ok..

Some other day i will post my bicycle's photo online.. lol

Yesterday night my bro just went to Brunei for his training over there.. His flight just took off last night and will be back soon.. So nice... When i went Taiwan.. i have to endure a week long's trip to reach Taiwan... By ship that is.. Imagine how many contraband items they will be bringing home.. lol..

In Friday night.. i went to Limo's chalet.. He was celebrating his birthday there.. Took some photos and i am now too lazy to upload it.. hahaha.. will update some other time together with my bike's pic..

I am so anxious about tml...

I am going for a dental operation at CGH..

Full dental surgery.. Wisdom tooth extraction.. all 4 impacted ones..

General Anaesthesia... which means i will be going to sleep throughout the whole operation.

Fasting for tonight... No food and drinks from 12mn

Total Cost: $650.00.. but it's free, cuz SAF subsidies..

I am so anxious.. Scary..

Anyway, I heard from a experienced guy, he told me i will definetely experience pain after the operation, and lots of numbness. I can't take in solid food and hot/warm food & drinks.

Damn.. my char kway teow...

This year's NDP got many meaningful events that are going to happen..

1)It serves as a last tribute to Our National Stadium

2)Marks the start of my new Navy's squadron 191 FCTU

3)1 Year soldier

4) which is also equals to 10 more months to ORD

5)A brand new singer Kaira Gong Si Jia (she is pretty and have a very nice voice) to sing our NDP theme song : My Island Home

6)Farewell to my four wisdom tooth...

7) MY 21st BIRTHDAY 10Aug1985

lol... i guess every national day i felt exceptionally patriotic.. the honor of celebrating the nation's birthday with my birthday was great... just great..

Lol... I know it had been freaking ages that i last updated my blog... besides those humorous videos i uploaded onto it..

So i am gonna make it short and sweet...

Here's the list of updates:

- I bought a new handphone.. Sony Ericsson W700i.. It's actually from a singtel voucher for loyalty rewards.. i get to choose two choices 1 was a $4 rebate off every monthly for 24 months, the other was a choice of three different hps, All sony ericsson for a special price. I decided to choose W700i because at that point of time.. It had not been released in SG yet. Haha.. i mean who would want to choose the $4 off rebate.. that's silly..

- Had meetings with my friends which inculdes My Secondary school friends, Campmates, NTUC buddies and others... lol.. Just recently went to Aaron's birthday treat at Century Square's Billy Bombers...

His GF helped him choose a soccer cake!! lol.. that's cute

Last week i met up with Sandy, Huixin, Yerong.. at Bedok 85 market.. Took some picture from my newly bought hp... lol... Suppose to have many people but they didn't turned up...

I also went Seoul Garden at Bugis to also have another birthday treat from my friend.. he is my campmate.. In tuas naval base.. Total we had about 6 people going..

We thought of an idea to fry the egg and mixed it with the chicken.. and voila!! fanatastic!! hahaa...

- Last few weeks ago i drove to Far East Square with my parents and we happened to pass by a flea market...

The weather is damn cold that period of time.. as you can see the clouds are covering some of the skyscrapers... Looks like Genting huh...

On the way back.. i saw a Volkwagen Beetle... i think the car is nice and cute... so i decided to take a picture of it...

- Bought World of Warcraft.. and i immediately was hooked onto it.. lol... provided the money i pay for it la.. but on the other hand it is really nice..

I miss my civillian life......

Sign... my ORD date is still long and i am facing lots of post ORD problems.... Is like there is always something i haven done...

Even i may look too young to say this but... Those were the best time of my life..

Not discriminating NS life... It also provide valuble experiences that others in my age weren't able to do... Especially in the NAVY...

But i wanted my civillian life back... There are still lots of things i have not seen and done...

I am very lucky to know each and everyone of you guys... That inculdes each and everyone i know of... You all make part of my life worth it!!
